Note the following for goods exported to the UAE:

1. If the declared value is more than $270 or the weight of a single consignment is more than 50kg, the customs will check the goods and pay tax;

2. Matters needing attention in customs clearance documents

First, the addressee is an individual

If the declared value is more than us $270 or the weight of a single consignment is more than 50kg, the consignee must provide a copy of passport and visa page to clear the customs.

Note that:

Before delivery, the customer must ensure that the consignee name on the waybill and invoice is exactly the same as that on the recipient’s passport. Otherwise, the recipient information of waybill and invoice must be changed, resulting in prolonged customs clearance time; In short, the customs clearance documents need to be kept solely consistent.

Second, if the recipient is a company

For goods with declared value of more than usd 270 or single weight of more than 50kg, the receiving company must provide valid import tariff number and copy of trade license before customs clearance.

3. What customs clearance documents are required for export to Dubai

Dubai generally does not need ccPIT certification, but generally needs CO certificate of origin. The specific requirements should be subject to the customer. Therefore, it is better to confirm with your customer whether you need to do so.
